Kingwood is a master planned community located northeast of Houston on Highway 59, (also called interstate 69). Kingwood is home to more than 40,000 residents who enjoy beautiful beautiful greenery, sweeping trees that overlook roadways and miles upon miles of greenbelt trails for walking, biking or hiking.
Kingwood elementary schools feed into 3 middle schools in the Kingwood area, including Kingwood Middle School, Creekwood Middle School and Riverwood Middle School. Kingwood High School is the ultimate Texas 6A destination for most students who attend Riverwood and Creekwood Middle Schools. Most Kingwood Middle School students are zoned to Kingwood’s newest High School; Kingwood Park High. K-Park is classified as 5A under the new UIL zoning that takes effect in 2014. All Kingwood schools are part of the Humble ISD school district. Kingwood Park High School is currently known as a “school of choice” within Humble ISD. Students within the school district are currently able to apply to attend Kingwood Park High School, regardless of if they are zoned geographically to K-Park High.
